Trenton250 is Trenton’s long range Comprehensive Master Plan that will guide the City from now to the 250th Anniversary of its incorporation in 2042.

Phase One of the Plan resulted in the community-driven Vision Element which was unanimously adopted by the Planning Board on October 9th, 2014.

The City is currently working on Phase Two with the community and a team of consultants to write “Elements” of the Master Plan that focuses on Economic Development, Housing, Land Use, Circulation, Environment, Education and Health. For a more detailed discussion of this phase please see this Project Overview.

Phase Three will begin once funding has been secured for the remaining elements.

At the end of this effort, Trenton will have a unified master plan in which all Elements work together to provide a clear direction for achieving the Vision and Guiding Principles identified in Phase I.

This diagram below illustrates all of the future Elements that will eventually make up the Trenton Master Plan. To find out more about the Master Plan organization, please watch this video.
