Actions

Introduction

“Action Cards” are a key element of implementation for the Master Plan. An “Action” is an individual policy, project, program, partnership, study, or advocacy position that the City and the community must execute to support an initiative to achieve a goal (e.g. Green Infrastructure Program, Assunpink Greenway Daylighting Project, or an Anti-Litter Campaign). As such, they are the smallest level of recommendation made in the Master Plan. They are also the most concrete, implementable elements.
As initiatives are launched, the taskforce responsible for the initiative populates the Implementation Details of each Action Card that falls within that initiative.
The diagram below illustrates how multiple actions are collected into initiatives, which help address goals, guiding principles, and the community-driven vision.
